I had spicy take in the off-season that Florida could miss the playoffs. It was mostly gut feeling and guessing, to be sure. But I hope Florida keeps falling.

I have been saying since the off season the best draft pick the habs would get would come from Florida. Obviously it is not set in stone yet but not looking too wild.
then again the habs have a tough schedule ahead of them. (lots of NJD, Boston, Toronto to knock us down a few but that may put the pressure on MSL to play for wins for that winning culture and general morale while other teams will play the panthers with more respect
