End Citizens United has been hard at work over the past two years in order to try and get more and more people interested in the strength of participatory democracy. End Citizens United was established with the goal of becoming a corporate-free, grassroots network for the American voter. End Citizens United has been particularly active since the rise and corresponding election of Donald Trump and this has continued into the 2018 Midterm Elections. The 2018 Midterm Elections look to one of the most important elections in recent memory and you can be sure that End Citizens United is making sure that the word gets out to voters. The team at End Citizens United, led by Tiffany Muller, has been focused on endorsing candidates that are looking to make real change in American politics and that has led ECU to endorse both Dan Feehan for Congress in Minnesota and TJ Cox for Congress in California.

End Citizens United has been focused on endorsing candidates that have decided to forego any kind of corporate PAC contributions and this has led to more than 80 politicians making the vow. TJC ox is running for the 21st Congressional District in California and he has become one of the 80 politicians to completely get rid of corporate donors from his campaign. Tiffany Muller said of Cox, “Cox is committed to reforming the rigged system by curbing the influence of Big Money special interests in politics.” Cox has gone on record to support important bills like Government By The People and the DISCLOSE Act, both of which are focused on making government more transparent in regards to where politicians are getting their money.

Shifting focus to Minnesota, End Citizens United has endorsed Dan Feehan in his run for the 1st Congressional District in the state. Feehan is another politician who has vowed to shrug free of the shackles that corporate donors and special interests typically hold over politicians. Feehan said that he was proud to get an endorsement from End Citizens United and that he was going to work hard to get special interests out of the political arena. Feehan’s words are being echoed by voters all around the country as a Gallup Poll revealed that 90% of Americans believe that the government is working for a select group of special interests at the top of the political ladder. End Citizens United and Dan Feehan could start a snowball of change in Minnesota.
